Total Cook Time: 1 hr
Ingredients
3/4 cup ketchup
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
*Or, swap all of the above for approximately 2 cups of your favorite store-bought BBQ sauce.
1 teaspoon cooking oil of your choice
1 (2-pound) pork loin
Salt and pepper to taste
Step #1 – 5 mins, optional
Combine the ketchup, soy sauce, honey, red wine vinegar, and mustard into a home-made bbq sauce, if chosen.
Step #2 – 60 mins
Preheat oven to 375, salt/pepper pork loin, and heat your best skillet with chosen oil. Once glistening sear the loin all over, approximately 1 minute on each side. Don’t forget the ends! Roast the loin into the oven for about 30 mins. Pull out the pork and slather on your barbecue sauce of choice, then cook for another 10-15 mins. Pork should reach 140 to be safe to eat. Let pork loin rest 10-15 mins before cutting.
Step #3 – EAT
Enjoy, however you like. Picture above shows salad and greens as a side. Want those slices on a barbecue pork loin sandwich? Not my place to judge…..
